CHOOSE THE DRYING AGENT THAT IS A DISINFECTANT.
Stalosan F is an EPA Registered dry powder disinfectant that is safe to be applied on the floors/bedding/environment of livestock even while they are present.
Stalosan F has a pH of 3.5, this helps prevent new bacterial growth and contributes to lowering ammonia levels. Though the pH is low, the product will NOT corrode metals so the equipment in the environment won’t be negatively impacted.
Stalosan F is also a very good drying agent. It can absorb up to 4 times it’s own body weight in the presence of ammonia.
WHAT IT DOES:
Kills Viruses: There are a number of university studies proving efficacy against numerous pathogens including PEDv, AI, IBDv, PRRS and many many more.
Kills Fly & Darkling Beatle Eggs and Larvae
It has a low pH which also helps prevent new pathogen growth
APPLICATIONS (product will not harm animals or people, treat anytime)
Treat entire house to help prevent disease
Treat pits to control flies, darkling beetles & lower ammonia
Dust entry & walk ways weekly to help control pathogen contamination from traffic
Use in Foot baths (it is not a chemical material but made up of minerals and metals that will not gas off)
Dusting whole houses in between flocks as a terminal disinfectant (final step before placing birds)
CAGE FREE LAYERS:
Stalosan powder – one application per week at 50gr/m²(1 pound per 100 sq. feet)
Density – 9 layers/m² = 5,56 gr./bird/week (0.196oz/bird/week)
52 weeks x 5,56 gr = 290 gr./bird/year (0.639 Pounds/bird/year)
Apply 1 lb/100 square feet under the litter
After applying bedding, apply 1 lb/100 square feet on top of the bedding
Apply Stalosan F at a minimum of 1 lb/100 square feet to help prevent disease outbreaks, control flies & darkling Beatles and also lower ammonia
AppFor broilers we recommend to use Stalosan every week for the whole production cycle if higher mortality appears, due to increased pathogen pressure.
In good health status of the flocks two applications per turn can improve the production results significantly.
Apply to crates especially under the sow
Dip baby piglets for drying and naval protection
Use a leaf blower and blow it over top of the pigs in farrowing rooms, nurseries and finishing barns
Dust entry & walk ways
Use in foot pans
Dust pig trailers, chutes and areas where pigs are transported
Apply to any area where the pigs come into contact with each other or surfaces of concern
Apply 100 g/m2 (2 pound per 100 sq. feet) once weekly, as evenly as possible on top of the bedding.
Apply additional Stalosan F, preferably daily, in areas with visible dung/diarrhoea to reduce the risk of infection.
It is preferable to throw the product against the bedding/fittings to generate dust that ensures an effective distribution.
